Here’s one more piece of fan art I made, also of an influential musician – Pierre Henry. I semi-three-dimensionalized the photo from the back of his album Messe pour le temps présent. The mix of pop and musique concrète on that album really blew my mind.
Thanks to all who came out to our first show! We had a blast testing the waters. More shows on the horizon…
We’ve been writing and recording like crazy lately. So in celebration of our debut show this Saturday, September 24th at Union Pool we’re sharing two new tracks. Listen to From The End and All My Life, and holler at us if you like what you hear. But only if you like it…
The Saturday show is the final day of Union Pool’s Summer Thunder series. We’re on first and eaaarrrlly, 4PM – perfect time to have a drink and enjoy some fall sunshine dancing. The rest of the day should be great too, with sets from Lord & Master, Devin Gary & Ross, and Free Blood. See you there!

As we are a new band, I thought it would be appropriate to post a little on our influences. One of my favorite musicians of all time is Ryuichi Sakamoto. A few years ago, I was making small fan art sculptures and started with him. I think this captures the class, refinement, and ‘piano bar’ stylings he is known for.
We’re gonna try this blog thing. Sounds, images, ideas… inna scrapyard style! Eyes on you. Follow…
